Games research
Games are a useful measurement subject: dated launches, enormous public conversation, and publishers who file their numbers. Each study below registers its question before any data is pulled, publishes every row, and is re-run on a schedule.
An entire industry vacated twelve days
The question: Does a generational launch take demand from the other games released beside it?
What it found: It cannot, because there are none. Two published calendars contain exactly one dated title in the twelve days around November 19 — and the twelve days before are the busiest of the autumn.
GTA 6: who answers, what it costs, and what people say
The question: Given one identical query string, how much do the domains cited by an answer engine overlap with the domains Google ranks organically?
What it found: Zero. Across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google, not one domain appeared in any two of the three source lists.
Every study here is re-run, and the next reading will differ from the last.
Sound Decisions carries each re-run and each correction, with the registered question written before the data is pulled.
