How many games come out in November 2026?
The evidence
The disagreement is structural, not sloppy.
A calendar that lists every dated storefront release will count several times what a calendar of notable titles counts. Neither is wrong. They are answering different questions under the same label, which is why a bare count travels badly.
It means cross-source comparisons are invalid even when they look reasonable.
Comparing one publication's November 2026 count to another publication's November 2025 count would attribute an editorial difference to the world. Any year-on-year release comparison needs the same source on both ends, and most published ones do not have it.
What survives the disagreement is structure.
All three calendars agree that no title at all is dated to November 19, 2026. The two fullest agree that the twelve days from November 13 to 24 contain exactly one title, and that the twelve days before them are busier than October. Shape survives where counts do not.
One of the three contradicts itself on a central date.
It gives November 19 in its calendar table and November 26 in its prose, for the same title. It is used only for its calendar row, and the contradiction is recorded rather than quietly resolved.
What would have to be true for this to be wrong
Three published release calendars read directly on October 25, 2026 — Driffle, Video Games Chronicle and GameSpot — counting dated titles only and excluding undated listings. $0.00 metered. Every date from all three is published on the study page.
Every row behind this answer is published in the standing study at cultmath.com/research/games/release-corridor, which is re-run on a schedule and corrected in place, dated.
Published 2026-10-25 by Ipalibo Da-Wariboko, CULT+MATH LLC. Where a number could not be sourced, this page says so and gives none.
This is one of six decisions covered in the games decision brief — each with the evidence behind it, who owns it, who it is contested with, and what would have to be true for the answer to flip.
